award day - quesadilla time!

Just got back from the end of the year awards day at Hunter's school. For first graders, each class took turns receiving their certificates. As they stood up, the teacher read two adjectives that describe that student. Hunter's words were 'aspiring' and 'goal-oriented'. I almost burst out laughing at those adjectives. All year, Hunter has talked about opening a restaurant one day called 'Quesadilla House'. He has a pretty clear business plan in place for his restaurant already! Inspiration was the theme of the year at his school and he wrote several essays about restaurants that inspire him!
All in all, his achievement awards were in Math, Language Arts, PE, and citizenship.
