two days in a row we found a fatty caterpillar chowing down on the tomato plants. After some google-ing, kevin found it to be one of two possible species of caterpillar - the tomato caterpillar or the tobacco caterpillar.
well, duh. It's got to be the tomato caterpillar, as it was chowing down on the tomato plants, right?!

nope. According to Kevin's findings, that is a tobacco caterpillar hanging upside down on the tomato plant!
