since we had just driven in from our beach trip the day before (18 1/2 hour drive in ONE day) we were pretty tired. We made sure Hunter had a special birthday treat at the beach - he was able to pick one thing we did there and chose to go to the Ripley's Odditorium. But his actual birthday fell on the day after we returned home. We went to the store for groceries and he picked out the type of cake and frosting he wanted. He was also able to choose dinner that night. He picked hot dogs, grapes, and edamame. sooo, that was his birthday dinner! Aunt Amber had driven in that day to pick up Cameron and Killian, so they helped us celebrate.
